CEO: Bob Swint
Robert J. Swint is the CEO and Founder of both ATA Associates, Inc. and Codega, LLC. Since receiving his B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mr. Swint has amassed extensive experience in system safety engineering, including 20 years of management level employment with NASA developing and designing safety programs.
He began consulting independently while working at NASA and founded ATA Associates, Inc. in the early 1970’s. Since its inception, Mr. Swint has continued to expand his employee and clientele base and facilities. ATA Associates, Inc., started with a single office and one support staff, has steadily grown and now includes an impressive research facility supported by a core staff of full time employees and numerous consulting experts. Mr. Swint has effectively managed to encourage growth and recognize both employee and business potential over the thirty-five year history of ATA Associates, Inc.
Mr. Swint is recognized as a leading accident reconstructionist in the trucking industry and has lectured nationally on trucking safety and accident prevention. He and his engineering firm have provided litigation support for many of the Top 100 trucking fleets in America.

Among numerous other quality service awards, Mr. Swint was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his work on the Apollo XIII Missions Operations Team.

Van O’Neal has been involved in transportation training for over 15 years. He is active in numerous associations and serves on a number of boards and advisory committees. Among his awards O’Neal has received the Chancellors Medallion of Excellence in 1998, the Outstanding Supervisors award in 2003, and membership appreciation award for service by the NAPFTDS in 1998.
O’Neal has written transportation related articles published in various industry journals, and served as technical advisor to a major video publication by Del Mar Publishing. He also co-authored "Pass the CDL All You Need to Know". O’Neal has appeared as guest lecturer at National conferences and symposiums. He has been featured on television and radio shows highlighting trucking, industry and education. He is also a featured key note and motivational speaker.
